Her residential work spans a wide variety of styles – from contemporary high-rise living to charming Hill Country escapes to elegant European homes.

ABOUT MARGARET CHAMBERS

Margaret Chambers and her team work with clients to help them create their own unique styles for their homes and offices. As a Registered Interior Designer (RID), she has more than 60,000 hours of interior design career experience to her credit, and her work has been published in more than 20 industry magazines, including Southern Home, Traditional Home, D Home, The Wall Street Journal, and Better Homes & Gardens, to name a few.

WHY HIRE AN INTERIOR DESIGNER?

Most people want a dream home that they can show friends, family, and neighbors with pride. But not everyone is trained in interior design or has the time to execute their vision. We understand that designing a home can feel overwhelming, so we get to know you and help you create the look you've always wanted.

Chambers Interiors is a full-service interior design firm, meaning we have experience with all aspects of home design from start to finish. Whether you’re building a new home, remodeling a historic home, or transforming a single room, we are here to help.

HOW IT WORKS

  • During our first phone interview with you, we’ll discuss your goals, which helps us understand the scope of the project. Next, Margaret Chambers meets you in-person at your project site. She likes to see photographs of homes you love, from magazines, books, or the Internet. This helps her create a vision for your project, based on your own personal style.

  • Next, we do the space planning. This includes furniture layouts, carpet diagrams, and tile diagrams. We pinpoint where your light fixtures should be located and where they’ll be plugged in. At this stage, we also look at your existing furnishings and art to see what we can incorporate.

  • We create a color scheme and style for your project, based on the inspirations you’ve shared with us. We also take your family’s lifestyle and needs into account. Typically, we will have 1-2 meetings with you every week to get approval on all items. After you see the options, you make the final selection.

  • Once we’ve gotten your approval on the design, the next step is for us to procure all the furnishings, art, light fixtures, and fabrics. As a designer, Margaret Chambers has access to pieces that are not normally available to the public. We can also have custom pieces made just for your home.

  • Throughout the entire design process, we work hand-in-hand with the architect, builder, and/or the remodeler. We also create the paint schedules, tile schedules, and countertop schedules with all the details that need to be implemented. On the day of the installation, we are there to make sure everything is put in its proper place.

  • The big day has finally arrived. It’s time for you and your family to enjoy your new dream home! Almost every major project that we finish is worthy of photographing, winning awards, or being published, with the client’s approval.
